Reconnaissance drone discovered in Poland 20 km from the border with the Russian Federation

A military drone with cameras and Cyrillic inscriptions was found in Poland. The device could have flown from the Kaliningrad region for surveillance purposes.
In Poland, a drone was discovered in a field near Bartoszyce. This is approximately 20 kilometers from the Russian border, UNN reports with reference to RMF24.

According to unofficial media reports, it has Cyrillic inscriptions. The device is equipped with a camera or cameras and is not the type of drone typically sold in stores. Authorities are referring to a larger, specialized drone.
Emergency services are on the scene, and the area has been cordoned off.
The Military Police issued a statement regarding the found drone. It states that it is likely a military aircraft designed for surveillance.
According to unofficial information from RMF FM, the drone could have flown in from Russia. Investigators have so far only confirmed that it is a foreign aircraft and not from Poland. Given its limited flight range — it could not have flown from Ukraine — there are many indications that the drone arrived from the Konigsberg region.
