Kyiv • UNN
Russian propagandists have released a fake video in which Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council Secretary Oleksiy Danilov allegedly claims Ukraine's involvement in the March 22 shooting near Moscow. It was a poorly edited fake using footage from the March 16 telethon.
Russian propagandists have launched a fake with the participation of NSDC Secretary Oleksiy Danilov, trying to convince that Ukraine was "involved in the March 22 terrorist attack." This is reported by the Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council, UNN reports.
Details
Russian propagandists from the NTV TV channel published a diplomatic video with the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov, trying to convince that Ukraine was "involved in the March 22 terrorist attack." To create this fake, they used footage from the March 16 telethon. They also replaced the guest, Chief of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine Kyrylo Budanov, with a fake video of Oleksiy Danilov
The CPD noted that the quality of the fake is very low, its artificiality is evident from the very first second of viewing, and Danilov's facial expressions and speech do not match at all.
"The work of Russian propagandists is weak," the Center added.
