The State Art Agency approved the professional standard "Librarian" by order No. 17 dated March 10, 2025. It defines the qualifications of librarians and optimizes competencies.
The State Agency of Ukraine for Arts and Art Education has approved the professional standard "Librarian". This is reported by the Ministry of Culture and Strategic Communications, writes UNN.
The professional standard "Librarian" was approved by the order of the State Art Agency dated March 10, 2025 No. 17. The document takes into account modern requirements for the library sphere and the experience of applying professional standards
What does the standard provide?
- determination of professional qualifications of librarians;
- clear trajectories for obtaining professional qualifications;
- harmonization of competencies with the National Qualifications Framework;
- optimization of competencies for effective performance of work functions.
How to use it?
- for the development of educational programs for training and professional development of library workers;
- for creating job descriptions;
- for evaluating the professional activity of specialists.
It is noted that on March 18, 2025, the standard was entered into the Register of Qualifications.
