A funeral service for Przemyslaw Rasiewicz-Kuczynski, a Polish citizen who died defending Ukraine, will be held in Lviv. The International Legion volunteer will be buried at Lychakiv Cemetery.

On Wednesday, August 14, Lviv will say goodbye to soldier Przemyslaw Rasiewicz-Kuczynski, a Polish citizen who died in the war defending Ukraine from Russian invaders. This was reported by Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi on Facebook, UNN reports.

The man was born in the city of Gdynia. He was engaged in volunteer and social activities.

From the beginning of the full-scale invasion, he decided to defend Ukraine and joined the International Legion.

Przemysław Rasiewicz-Kuczynski was killed during the mission.

"Przemyslaw willed that he be buried in Lviv at Lychakiv Cemetery. The funeral will take place tomorrow at 14:00 in the Garrison Church. Eternal memory to the defender who fought for our freedom," Sadovyi wrote.
