Poland's new Foreign Minister talks to Kuleba about Ukraine's integration into the EU

Poland's new Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski assured Dmytro Kuleba that Poland will actively work on the European Council's decision to open negotiations on Ukraine's accession to the EU. Kuleba said this and added that Sikorski accepted his invitation to visit Ukraine, UNN reports.

I spoke with Sikorsky and congratulated him on his appointment. Minister Sikorskyi confirmed his commitment to the further strengthening of Ukrainian-Polish relations, countering Russian aggression, Ukraine's integration into the EU and NATO, as well as cooperation in other global affairs

They also discussed the upcoming EU summit.

"The minister assured me that Poland will actively work at the summit to ensure the adoption of the necessary decisions, in particular regarding the opening of negotiations on Ukraine's accession to the EU. Minister Sikorsky also accepted my invitation to visit Ukraine," Kuleba said.

The Polish publication Onet reported that Poland is considering Ukraine's offer to newly elected Prime Minister Donald Tusk to make one of his first foreign visits to Kyiv.
