Non-transitional holidays:
- January 6 - Epiphany or Baptism of the Lord
- February 2 - Presentation of the Lord
- March 25 - Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary
- August 6 - Transfiguration of the Lord
- August 15 - Assumption of the Virgin Mary
- September 8 - Nativity of the Virgin Mary
- September 14 - Exaltation of the Lord's Cross
- November 21 - Entry into the Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary
- December 25 - the Nativity of Christ
When is Easter
This year, Catholics, Orthodox and Protestants will celebrate the Resurrection of Christ together on April 20 .
Transitional holidays
April 13 - The Entry of the Lord into Jerusalem, or as people say, Palm Sunday. This is the last Sunday before Easter, when Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey and was welcomed by the citizens.
May 29 is the Ascension of the Lord. This is a remembrance of how Jesus Christ ascended to heaven on the 40th day after his resurrection.
June 8 - Holy Trinity Day, the Day of the Descent of the Holy Spirit, Pentecost or Green Feasts. It is celebrated on the 50th day after Easter and reminds us of how God appeared to people in all three of His incarnations once.
