One of the largest water reservoirs in occupied Crimea has become very shallow. The Belohirskoye reservoir, which was previously used to fill the North Crimean Canal, has stopped discharging water.

The situation with the water supply on the Ukrainian peninsula is becoming more complicated. According to Krym.Realii, due to severe shallowing stopped water discharge in the Belogorskoye reservoir, reports UNN.

Details

The water edge in the Belogorsky reservoir has gone far away from the base of the dam; water release due to its severe shallowing has been stopped.

Earlier, water was intensively released into the channel of the Biyuk-Karasu River to fill the North Crimean Canal, writes Crimea.Realii.

The Crimean branch of the international movement for the decoccupation of Crimea said that the situation with Crimea's water supply may worsen.
