Russian forces attacked Nikopol, Dnipro region, using a drone and artillery, wounding an elderly woman and damaging buildings, including a kindergarten.
Russian occupants sent a kamikaze drone to Nikopol in Dnipropetrovs'k region and fired twice with heavy artillery. A 70-year-old woman sustained a shrapnel wound. In particular, a recreation center, an administrative building, and a kindergarten were damaged. This was reported by the head of the Dnipropetrovs'k Regional Military Administration Serhiy Lysak, according to UNN.
"In the afternoon, the enemy sent a kamikaze drone to Nikopol. And fired twice at the city with heavy artillery. A 70-year-old woman received a shrapnel wound. She received medical care and is being treated at home," Lysak wrote on Telegram.
According to him, a recreation center, an administrative building, a kindergarten, two private enterprises, and a non-residential building were damaged. Half a dozen multi-storey buildings, an outbuilding and a car were damaged.
He also commented on emergency messages from the State Emergency Service.
"From now on, residents of the region will receive them. This is necessary because due to the hacker attack on Kyivstar, not all communities in the region have the opportunity to turn on the siren. We cannot neglect people's safety. Therefore, we decided to duplicate the alerts," Lysak said.
