On the night of January 1, the Ukrainian Air Defense Forces repelled a massive attack by Russian kamikaze drones. Most of the "shaheds" were shot down by air defense units of the "South" Air Command. This was stated by the commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Mykola Oleshchuk, UNN reports.
