New prices for ID cards and passports: what will change from 2025

Starting from January 1, 2025, the cost of issuing biometric documents in Ukraine will change. An ID card will cost from UAH 558, and a foreign passport from UAH 1,042.

Starting January 1, 2025, the cost of issuing an ID card, passport, and temporary and permanent residence permits will change. This was reported by the State Migration Service of Ukraine, UNN writes.

"Starting January 1, 2025, the cost of forms for certain biometric documents has been changed at the State Enterprise Printing Plant Ukraine.

In this regard, the total cost of issuing a passport of a citizen of Ukraine in the form of an ID card, a passport of a citizen of Ukraine for traveling abroad, as well as temporary and permanent residence permits in Ukraine, has also increased," the Migration Service website says.

In 2025, the prices for services are as follows:

ID card

- For the first time, it's free.

- Up to 20 business days:

- UAH 558 (UAH 126 for the service, UAH 432 for the form).

- Up to 10 business days:

- UAH 928 (UAH 496 for the service, UAH 432 for the form).

International passport

- Up to 20 business days:

- UAH 1042 (UAH 352 for the service, UAH 690 for the form).

- Up to 7 business days:

- UAH 1682 (UAH 992 for the service, UAH 690 for the form).

Permanent residence permit

- UAH 1175 (UAH 496 for the service, UAH 594 for the form, UAH 85 for the state fee).

Temporary residence permit

- 1080 UAH (452 UAH - service, 594 UAH - form, 34 UAH - derzhmit).

What you need to know

- Prices depend on the urgency of production and the type of form.

- Documents are drawn up through the relevant state authorities or administrative service centers.

- To apply, you need to have a standard set of documents: a passport, a tax identification number (TIN) and, if necessary, other certificates or statements.
