Over the past week, more than 10,000 new cases of COVID-19 and 55 fatalities have been reported in Ukraine, one of which was in the 15-17 age group.
Over the past week, more than 10,000 cases of COVID-19 were registered in Ukraine, with 55 fatalities, the Health Ministry reports, UNN writes.
1,475 children under the age of 17 were confirmed to have COVID-19 last week. 382 of them needed inpatient treatment, 7 - in the intensive care unit. In total, last week, doctors registered 10,317 cases of COVID-19 and reported 55 deaths among people over 30 and one among children (age group 15-17)

In total, 1,142,641 people have been infected with SARS, flu and COVID-19 since the beginning of the epidemic season in Ukraine in October, and last week alone, 159,269 Ukrainians fell ill with SARS, flu and COVID-19, 91,221 of them children under the age of 17. 4,264 people were hospitalized, including 2,014 children.

Ternopil, Zhytomyr, and Chernivtsi regions have recorded exceeding the epidemic threshold for COVID and influenza . These regions may introduce certain restrictive anti-epidemic measures.
