The U.S. Department of defense has stepped up the domestic defense industry by allocating more than.27 billion to suppliers in 37 states to help Ukraine, leading to a historic mobilization and expansion of military equipment production.

It is noted that the US Department of defense has allocated about 3 3.3 billion in 18 states to help defense contractors like expand and modernize production lines, as well as completely create new ones.

Contractors produce, among other things, 155 mm artillery shells, Guided Multiple Launch Rocket Systems, as well as Stinger and Javelin missiles.
