A massive rocket attack on Kyiv caused fires, damaged buildings and injured at least 10 people, including a child, with more than 170 rescuers working at the scene.
A massive missile attack by Russian troops on Kyiv caused fires, damaged buildings and injured at least 10 people, including a child, with more than 170 rescuers working at the scene, Ukrainian Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko said on Thursday, UNN writes.

"According to preliminary information, 10 people, including a child, were injured in the capital as a result of hostile shelling. 79 people were evacuated. Rescuers, police, and psychologists are working on the ground," Klymenko wrote on Telegram.
He reported on the situation in Kyiv's districts:
- Podilskyi district: fire in a two-story building, significant damage. The fire also engulfed a transformer substation and warehouse buildings.
- Shevchenkivskyi district: a fire broke out in a 6-storey apartment. Rescuers evacuated 15 residents. At other addresses, the windows of an apartment building were damaged and several cars were destroyed by fire. A part of a rocket was found, and pyrotechnic crews were engaged.
- Svyatoshynskyi district: window glazing in two nine-story buildings and a building of an educational institution were damaged.
According to him, more than 170 rescuers are eliminating the consequences of the attack.
