French President Emmanuel Macron has awarded billionaire Bernard Arnault, the world's richest man and CEO of LVMH, with France's highest honor, the Grand Cross of the Legion of Honor. The ceremony was attended by world celebrities, including Beyoncé, Jay-Z and Elon Musk.

Dozens of celebrities, including Beyoncé, Jay-Z and Elon Musk, arrived in Paris to honor LVMH CEO and the world's richest man, who received the Grand Cross of the Legion of Honor, the highest French award that can be given to only 75 people at a time.

Arnault, who recently regained the title of the world's richest man, received this honor 13 years after former President François Hollande conferred on him the title of grand officer and 28 years after he was knighted.

Macron gave a speech in which he explained Arnaud's merits. In particular, he spoke about his commitment to France, his roots, and his participation in the reconstruction of Notre Dame.

The ceremony was attended by leading French politicians, including former President Nicolas Sarkozy. The event also attracted celebrities from all over the world, including Beyoncé and Jay-Z, Elon Musk, Queen Rania of Jordan, artist Jeff Koons, pianist Lang Lang, and billionaires Vincent Bolloré of the Bolloré Group and Rodolphe Saade of CMA CGM.
