Dmytro Lubinets met with David Fisher of the Red Cross to ask for help in verifying Ukrainian children taken to Belarus or through Belarus to russia. He also emphasized the need for action against russia's violations.

The issue of returning Ukrainian citizens, including children, was discussed by the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights Dmytro Lubinets together with the newly appointed Head of the of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies in Ukraine, David Fisher. The course of the The meeting was reported by the press service of the Ukrainian ombudsman,  and by UNN.

Many important topics were discussed and David Fisher was asked to request to assist in the verification of Ukrainian children who were taken to Belarus or through its territory to the russian Federation. The world cannot can't stand by and not react to Russia's criminal actions against the the Ukrainian people with the involvement of belarus!

Recently, the Ukrainian Parliamentary Commissioner for Human Rights Dmytro Lubinets appealed to the Red Cross and the UN Monitoring Mission after the killing of two Ukrainian soldiers who surrendered to the Russians. Mr. Lubinets called for measures to be taken measures against violations of international law.
