Ukrainian polar explorers from the Akademik Vernadsky station shared the first video of newborn penguins on Facebook, UNN reports.

The video shows a pair of firstborns born near the geospace research laboratory. Anna Soina, a geophysicist at the 29th UAE, filmed the children on their way to the workplace.
Now there are about a dozen newborn penguins on Galindez Island, where the Akademik Vernadsky station is located. Most of them are right next to the laboratory
Galindezi Island is dominated by sub-Antarctic penguins, with a current population of about 4,000 penguins, and a record 7,000 at the end of last season.
