Kyivites rally in front of KCSA over demolition of Zelensky's estate

Hundreds of Kyiv residents rallied in front of the KCSA over the demolition of the historic Zelensky estate to build an apartment complex. The protesters demanded to stop the destruction of the historic part of Kyiv, chanting 'Klitschko is a looter'.
In the evening of July 20, a rally of Kyiv residents took place near the walls of the KCSA and the Kyiv City Council, demanding to stop the destruction of the historic part of the capital, which takes place almost every day. The corresponding video of the rally appeared on telegram channels, UNN reports .

“Klitschko is a looter” is chanted by people who came to the rally near KCSA,” eyewitnesses said.
The protesters gathered because of the unauthorized demolition of the historic Zelensky estate for the construction of another Turgenev residential complex.
Several hundred Kyiv residents gathered to protest. None of the representatives of the city authorities came out to them.
In a comment to UNN, the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office noted that these actions took place despite the current court decision to arrest the building and ban construction work.
To recap, on the birthday of Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko, a historic building of the late 19th century, the Zelensky Estate, was demolished.
