Putin, without evidence, claimed that Kyiv is retreating along the entire front line and has turned to terrorism. He also promised to bring the Russian economy to a new level and solve demographic problems.
Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, during a speech at the congress of the "United Russia" party, once again repeated a series of propaganda statements about the war against Ukraine, the West, and the internal situation in the Russian Federation. This was reported by UNN.

Putin, without any evidence, claimed that "the Kyiv regime is retreating along the entire line of combat contact, therefore it has switched to outright terrorist actions." He also complained about "unprecedented pressure" from Western elites and called the participants in the war against Ukraine "the true elite of Russia."
Furthermore, the dictator stated that Russia is supposedly "being tried to get rid of as a global factor" that "always stood in the way of evil," and that the country itself "can only be a strong and independent state – or it will not exist at all." He also assured that Russia is "ready to fight for its fundamental interests," and its security and "inviolability of borders" will be ensured.
Putin devoted a separate part of his speech to the economy and domestic policy. He promised to bring the Russian economy "to a new level," create new high-paying jobs, solve demographic problems, raise the standard of living, and preserve "traditional values." He also stated that all of Russia's strategic plans will be implemented, and the State Duma elections will take place "within the established timeframe and in strict accordance with the law."
