The Kyiv City Council website has registered a draft decision "On Approval of the City Target Program for the Development of Transport Infrastructure in Kyiv for 2024-2025", which provides that the total budget of the program will amount to 34 billion 783 million 627 thousand hryvnias.

It is noted that in 2024 it is planned to allocate UAH 14 billion 943 million 853 thousand, and in 2025 - UAH 19 billion 829 million 774 thousand.

At the same time, UAH 19 billion 880 million is to be allocated from the capital's budget, UAH 800 million is to be received from the state budget, and another UAH 14.1 billion is to be received from other sources.

According to the program, 1.8 billion hryvnias are planned to be allocated for the most famous Kyiv long-term construction project, the Podilskyi bridge crossing, over the next two years. Funding is expected to come from the local budget. In 2025, the bridge is expected to be 88% complete.

UAH 1.49 billion has been allocated for the construction of a section of the Syretsko-Pecherska subway line from the Syrets station to the Vynohradar residential area with an electric depot over the next two years. The Kyiv City Council also plans to allocate UAH 20 million for the construction of an exit from the Lvivska Brama metro station, but this is expected to happen in 2025.

According to the program, next year it is planned to start construction of a subway to the capital's Troyeschyna district, namely the section of the Podilsko-Vyhurivska subway line from Hlybochytska station to Rayduzhna station. At the same time, it is planned to build only 10 meters in two years, for which 25 million hryvnias are allocated.

In addition, UAH 46.8 million is allocated for the construction of the Kurenivsko-Chervonoarmiyska subway line from the Vystavochnyi Tsentr station to Odeska Square.

It is also planned to reconstruct the Nyvky metro station for UAH 10 million, Zhytomyrska for UAH 278.6 million, and to equip the lobby for modern use of the Vokzalna station with the construction of another exit. It is already planned to allocate UAH 11 million for this purpose in 2024 and 2025.

The program also provides for the launch of a project to build trolleybus lines to Brovary from Kyiv and Gostomel-Irpin-Bucha, which have been discussed for quite some time. For this purpose, it is planned to allocate 25 million hryvnias for each direction. But by 2025, it is planned to reach 2.5% of the project's readiness.

In general, the project envisages allocating funds for road repairs, traffic lights, purchasing buses, trolleybuses and tram cars, building parking lots, shelters, etc.
