Ukrainian wrestler Iryna Kolyadenko has made it to the finals of the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris in the 62 kg weight category. She has guaranteed Ukraine its 12th medal at these competitions.

Details
In the semifinals of the 62 kg weight category, the 25-year-old Ukrainian defeated Aisula Tynynbekova of Kyrgyzstan, a silver medalist at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. The match ended with a score of 9:2 in favor of our wrestler.
Prior to that, in the 1/8 finals Kolyadenko defeated Orkhon Purevdorj from Mongolia (8:7), and then in the quarterfinals defeated Bulgarian representative Bilyana Dudova (7:3).

Iryna Kolyadenko is a bronze medalist of the 2020 Olympics. She is a three-time European champion (2021, 2023, 2024), won bronze at the 2020 European Championships, as well as silver (2019) and bronze (2023) at the World Championships.
