The car of the head of the Rylsky district, Vladimir Kovalchuk, was blown up by a remote device. The official was hospitalized with shrapnel wounds to his legs, and four other people were injured.

In Russia, the car of the head of the Rylsky district of the Kursk region, Vladimir Kovalchuk, was blown up. The explosion was carried out using a remote device, reports UNN citing the governor of the Kursk region, Oleksandr Khinshtein.
Details
The official was hospitalized with blind shrapnel wounds to his legs. Also hospitalized were the driver, the director of the economic maintenance department, and two other employees of the district administration who were standing on the porch of the building at the time of the explosion.
Khinshtein also published a photo of the alleged mines used to carry out the explosion. He added that the area around the scene is cordoned off.
