According to the analysis, the Tuapse oil refinery, located on Industrialnaya Street, caught fire. Eyewitnesses are publishing videos of the large-scale fire, which is visible from a distance of about 1.5 km.
Local residents reported a series of explosions in the region on the night of April 16. Later, the authorities of the Krasnodar Krai stated that two children were killed and two more adults were injured as a result of the attack.
Classes were canceled in all educational institutions in Tuapse.
What is known about the facility
The Tuapse Refinery is part of the structure of the Russian oil company "Rosneft" and is part of a single complex with a marine terminal for transshipment of petroleum products.
