In the parliamentary elections in Romania, after counting 99% of the votes, the Social Democrats are leading with 22.66%. Seven parties are running for parliament with a total turnout of 52.33%.

The Social Democrats get 22.66% in the Senate and 22.27% in the House of Deputies. The second place went to the Alliance for the unification of Romanians (18.61% and 17.86%). The National Liberal Party closes the top three (14.40% and 13.42%).
The total turnout of voters, including the diaspora, as of 21.00, when polling stations closed across the country, was 52.33%
39 parties and 19 organizations of national minorities took part in the December 1 elections.
