Law enforcement officers in Odesa region detained a man in the Podilsk district who had left a military unit without authorization. He took out a grenade and began threatening to detonate it, which later occurred. This was reported by UNN with reference to the Main Department of the National Police of Ukraine in Odesa Region.

A 52-year-old man was stopped by patrol police officers for violating traffic rules while riding a moped.

During a document check, law enforcement officers found that the man was in AWOL status. Subsequently, the man took out a grenade and began threatening to use it. A moment later, an explosion occurred
