The occupiers are building bridges near Mariupol to improve logistics with Crimea. A railway line is also under construction to connect with Rostov.

Russian invaders are building a transport hub in the temporarily occupied Mariupol to improve military logistics, the Mariupol City Council reported, writes UNN.

"The Russians are trying to improve land communication with the annexed Crimea. Currently, they are building several bridges around Mariupol to improve logistics, according to the Center for the Study of Occupation," the City Council said in Telegram.
"Three essentially new bridges at once, one of which is railway: across the Berestova River, across the Kalmius River (Rozdolne village) and across the Shyroka Balka along the Donetsk-Novoazovsk-Mariupol highway and in the area of the new railway line," the Center for the Study of Occupation noted.
As indicated, the purpose of the construction is to radically improve automobile military logistics in the direction: Rostov-Novoazovsk-Volnovakha - Donetsk. The railway line should connect the occupied Mariupol and Russian Rostov.
