In Kyiv, a driver opened fire due to a road conflict. The police announced a special operation and detained the shooter, UNN reports, citing the capital's police.

According to the police, the shooting occurred in the Sviatoshynskyi district. A conflict arose between the drivers, after which the driver of a Mercedes fired several shots toward a Skoda vehicle and drove away.
No citizens were injured, and the vehicles sustained no damage.
A special police operation was launched to intercept the perpetrator's vehicle. Patrol crews checked potential routes the driver might have taken and located a vehicle matching the description in the village of Novi Petrivtsi.
Tactical Response Unit (TOR) inspectors promptly stopped the vehicle and detained the driver. The patrol officers conducted a superficial search and found an object resembling a pistol in the car's interior.
Therefore, we called an investigative-operational group to the scene, which seized the suspected weapon and will further investigate the circumstances of this incident.
