Police detained a 46-year-old man for a shooting on Mrii Street. No weapons were found in his vehicle; the suspect faces up to seven years in prison.

Kyiv police have detained a driver who opened fire in the Sviatoshynskyi district. During a search of his vehicle, no weapons were found, UNN reports, citing the Kyiv police.

Operatives tracked down and detained the suspect in one of the villages in the Kyiv region. He turned out to be a 46-year-old resident of the Kyiv region. During a search of his car, no weapons were found.
Investigators have initiated criminal proceedings under Part 4 of Article 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – hooliganism. The sanction of the article provides for up to seven years of imprisonment.
Investigative actions are currently ongoing. Law enforcement officers are establishing all the circumstances.
