In Kyiv, a 53-year-old citizen of Armenia was detained, whom Interpol had been searching for since 2005. The man is suspected of murder and document forgery.

A 53-year-old citizen of Armenia, who had been wanted by Interpol since 2005 at the request of the Republic of Armenia, was detained in the capital. This was reported by the Prosecutor General's Office, writes UNN.
The detention took place as part of an investigation into the activities of a group of individuals involved in the illegal storage of firearms, explosives, and explosive devices
In Armenia, the man is wanted for committing several serious crimes. Among them: premeditated murder, intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm, and document forgery.
In Ukraine, he used two Ukrainian citizen passports under different surnames. One of the documents stated that the man was born in Simferopol, in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. The second passport belonged to a resident of Zakarpattia who died back in 2012.
At the request of prosecutors from the Darnytsia District Prosecutor's Office of Kyiv, the court ordered the arrest of the detainee for the purpose of subsequent extradition to Armenia.
The detention measures were carried out by employees of the Department of Strategic Investigations of the National Police of Ukraine under the procedural guidance of the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office and the Darnytsia District Prosecutor's Office of Kyiv.
