In Khmelnytsky, a 37-year-old woman hit a 12-year-old girl on a pedestrian crossing, resulting in the girl being hospitalized and a criminal case being opened for violating traffic safety rules.
Last night in Khmelnytsky, at the intersection of Svobody and Prybuzka streets, a woman hit a 12-year-old girl who was crossing the road on a pedestrian crossing, the Main Department of the National Police in Khmelnytsky region reported, UNN reports.

Yesterday, on December 18, at about 17:45, at the intersection of Svobody and Prybuzka streets, a 37-year-old local resident driving a Volkswagen hit a 12-year-old girl who was crossing the roadway on a regulated pedestrian crossing.
"As a result of the accident, the child was injured and hospitalized in the trauma department of the Khmelnytsky City Children's Hospital," the statement said.
Investigators of the Khmelnytskyi District Police Department opened a criminal proceeding over the incident under Part 1 of Art. 286 (Violation of traffic safety rules that caused bodily harm to victims) of the of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and are currently establishing all the circumstances of the incident.
