In Kharkiv, the number of people injured in an enemy rocket attack on January 2 increased to 62, one woman was killed, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, said on Wednesday, UNN reports.
As a result of yesterday morning's hostile shelling of Kharkiv, 62 people were injured, including 6 children. One woman was killed. Currently, 28 people, including 4 children, are hospitalized in the city's medical facilities. Two adults are in serious condition
According to the head of the RMA, at 22:40 and 22:42, the occupiers shelled Kharkiv again, this time with S-300 missiles. A school building in Osnovyansky district was partially destroyed. There were no casualties.
According to him, more than 15 settlements of Kharkiv region came under enemy artillery and mortar fire over the past day, including: Okhrymivka in Chuhuiv district; Bologivka, Dvorichanske, Dvorichna, Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Ivanivka, Berestove in Kupyansk district.
In particular, he said, yesterday around 12:00 the enemy fired at the village of Lyptsi, Kharkiv district. There were no casualties.
At 13:47 and 14:30, according to Sinegubov, the occupiers struck the town of Vovchansk, Chuhuiv district. Two houses were destroyed and damaged. A 65-year-old woman was injured.
At 21:30 a house was damaged as a result of shelling in Kupyansk, he noted.
"Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 12 enemy attacks near Synkivka and east of Petropavlivka in Kupyansk district over the last day," said the RMA head.
