In the Kharkiv region, a rescuer came to extinguish a fire in Velykyi Burluk  that started as a result of today's enemy strike, and found himself in the ashes of his own home. His wife  was killed and his 10-year-old son suffered burn injuries as a result of the Russian attack. UNN reports this with reference to the State Emergency Service. 

"The worst thing for rescuers is to respond to a call in their own home... A man came to extinguish a fire after a massive air strike on the village of Velykyi Burluk, and found himself in the ashes of his own house...", the SES said. 

Reportedly, the 37-year-old wife of the rescuer was killed as a result of the Russian strike. His 10-year-old son was hospitalized with burn injuries.

Earlier it was reported that on the morning of July 31, Russian troops struck Velykyi Burluk in Kharkiv region with anti-aircraft missiles . A woman was killed in the attack.
