148 combat engagements were recorded over the past day, most of them in the Pokrovsk, Kostiantynivka, and Huliaipole directions. The enemy deployed over 10,000 drones.
Up to half of the 148 battles on the front over the past day occurred in three directions - Pokrovsk, Kostiantynivka, and Huliaipilske, the General Staff of the AFU reported in its morning briefing on May 4, showing a map of hostilities, UNN reports.
In total, 148 combat engagements were recorded over the past day
Yesterday, the enemy launched one missile strike using two missiles, carried out 86 air strikes, and dropped 312 guided aerial bombs. In addition, it deployed 10,394 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,384 shellings of settlements and positions of our troops, including 37 from multiple launch rocket systems.
The aggressor carried out air strikes, particularly in the areas of the settlements of Vilna Sloboda in Sumy region; Prosiana in Dnipropetrovsk region; Vozdvyzhivka, Verkhnia Tersa, Novomykolaivka, Malyn, Huliaipilske, Lisne, Kopani, Omelnyk, Yehorivka, Rizdvianka, Barvinivka, Rivne, Orikhiv, Omelnyk, Lysivka, Tavriiske, Hryhorivka, Odarivka, Zarichne, Komyshuvakha, Tsvitkove, Liubytske, Shyroke, Novoselivka, Novorozivka in Zaporizhzhia region.
Over the past day, the aviation, missile forces, and artillery of the Defense Forces hit nine areas of concentration of enemy personnel and two artillery pieces.
Situation by directions
In the Pivnichno-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, one combat engagement took place yesterday; the enemy carried out 73 shellings of settlements and positions of our troops, three of which involved multiple launch rocket systems, and launched three air strikes using seven guided bombs.
In the Pivdenno-Slobozhanskyi direction, the enemy stormed the positions of our units three times towards Starytsia, Lyman, and Mytrofanivka.
In the Kupiansk direction, the aggressor attacked twice towards Kurylivka and Kivsharivka.
In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled five attempts by the invaders to advance towards Lyman, Novyi Myr, Drobysheve, and Ozerne.
In the Sloviansk direction, during the past day, our defenders stopped three attempts by the occupiers to advance in the direction of Rai-Oleksandrivka, Kalenyky, and Riznykivka.
In the Kramatorsk direction, our soldiers repelled an enemy attack in the area of Orikhovo-Vasylivka yesterday.
In the Kostiantynivka direction, the enemy carried out 23 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Kostiantynivka, Oleksandro-Shultyne, Pleshchiivka, Ivanopillia, Illinivka, Stepanivka, Rusyn Yar, and Sofiivka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, our defenders stopped 26 assault actions of the aggressor towards the settlements of Bilytske, Dorozhnie, Rodynske, Serhiivka, Novooleksandrivka, Pokrovsk, Hryshyne, Muravka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, and Novopavlivka.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy attacked six times in the areas of the settlements of Vorone, Oleksandrohrad, Zlahoda, Yehorivka, Krasnohirske, and Berezove.
In the Huliaipole direction, 23 attacks by the occupiers took place in the directions of Zaliznychne, Olenokostiantynivka, Pryluky, Tsvitkove, Sviatopetrivka, Verkhnia Tersa, Hirke, Charivne, and Huliaipilske.
In the Orikhiv direction, our defenders stopped one enemy attempt to advance in the area of Shcherbaky.
In the Prydniprovskyi direction, Ukrainian units stopped two enemy attacks towards Antonivka.
In the Volyn and Polissia directions, no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected.
