In total, ten women spoke to BBC journalists, nine of whom publicly shared their experiences with Leto for the first time. The publication notes that it verified some of their testimonies using messages, photographs, and conversations with people they had told about these events.

According to the BBC, the women claim the incidents occurred between 2002 and 2016, when Leto was between 30 and 40 years old. Additionally, two former band employees said they felt uncomfortable with his interactions with underage fans.
Leto denies all allegations
The BBC reports that numerous allegations regarding the actor's behavior toward women had previously appeared online. Last year, nine women also made similar accusations in an article by the American publication Air Mail.
After the investigation was published, Leto released a statement denying all allegations.
