Former two-term MP Yevhen Shaho has died

Former Ukrainian Member of Parliament of the 5th and 6th convocations Yevhen Shaho has died at the age of 84. He served as First Deputy Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers and headed the corporation “United Energy Systems of Ukraine.”
People's Deputy of Ukraine of the 5th and 6th convocations Yevhen Shaho died at the age of 84, the press service of the Verkhovna Rada apparatus reported on August 14, UNN writes.

As stated, for many years he was engaged in state and public activities. He served as First Deputy Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and headed the board of the United Energy Systems of Ukraine corporation.
During his work in the Verkhovna Rada, he was a member of the Committee on the Fuel and Energy Complex, the Committee on Environmental Policy, and also secretary of the Counting Commission of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the sixth convocation.
