For military personnel, it is proposed to change the rules for calculating pensions
the Verkhovna Rada is proposed to amend the current legislation on pensions of the Ukrainian military, in particular on calculating the length of service during combat operations, according to draft law No. 10313, reports UNN.
Details
parliamentarians propose to change the rules for calculating superannuation to determine the amount of pension for military personnel. So, during military service during wartime, one month of Service is proposed to be counted as two months.
if a serviceman participates directly in the defense of territorial integrity and state sovereignty, but does not participate in combat operations, then one month of service, as proposed, will be counted as three months.
if a serviceman participates in combat operations, then one month of service, according to the bill, will be counted for four months.
also, if a serviceman is in captivity, one month of service will be counted as five months. But this rule will not apply to military personnel who voluntarily surrendered.
