Exchange rates for June 19: dollar continues to rise, euro drops significantly

The National Bank of Ukraine has set the official hryvnia exchange rate at UAH 44.9125 per dollar today, weakening the national currency by 11 kopecks over the day, reports UNN citing NBU data.

The NBU also set the official euro to hryvnia exchange rate for June 19 at UAH 51.4563 per euro, significantly strengthening the hryvnia by 47 kopecks over the day.

According to data on specialized websites as of Friday morning:

• in banks, the dollar is traded at an average rate of UAH 44.65 for buying and UAH 45.14 for selling, the euro at UAH 51.35 and UAH 52.10 respectively;

• in exchange offices, the dollar is traded at an average rate of UAH 44.92 for buying and UAH 45.03 for selling, the euro at UAH 51.80 and UAH 52.10 respectively.
