Russian troops shelled more than 15 settlements in Kharkiv region yesterday, in particular, they hit the cities of Kupyansk and Vovchansk and the village of Kozacha Lopan, where a gas pipe was damaged and a man was wounded. According to Syniehubov, more than 15 settlements in Kharkiv region came under enemy artillery and mortar fire, including: Udy of Bohodukhiv district, Vovchansk of Chuhuiv district, Ambarne, Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Ivanivka, Berestove of Kupyansk district. The enemy conducted an air strike near the village of Varvarovka, Chuhuiv district.
At 10:50 the enemy struck the town of Kupyansk. Two private houses and outbuildings were damaged. There were no casualties.
At around 11:30, the town of Vovchansk, Chuhuiv district, was shelled. There was no information on casualties or damage.
At about 16:50, a gas pipe was damaged as a result of an enemy strike on the village of Kozacha Lopan in Kharkiv district. A man born in 1977 was wounded. The victim was taken to hospital with shrapnel wounds. His condition is moderate.
"Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 16 enemy attacks near Synkivka and Petropavlivka in Kupyansk district," said the JFO head.
