During the Russian missile attack on Kyiv, all the children from the Okhmatdyt hospital were safely moved to a basement shelter, but some staff members were injured.

During a missile attack by the Russian army on Kyiv, children from the Okhmatdyt hospital were moved to a shelter and survived. However, the hospital staff was injured. This was reported by the acting head of the hospital's intensive care unit, UNN reports with reference to hromadske.

Details

The staff was reportedly injured. In particular, the senior nurse of the department suffered an injury to her upper limb. She was hospitalized.

It is noted that during the alarm, the medical staff was in the corridor. However, according to the acting head of the intensive care unit, the children were taken to the basement. All the children survived and were promised to be transferred to other hospitals.

Addendum 

According to the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the hospital was damaged by a Russian strike, people are under the rubble, the exact number of victims is unknown.
