The other day, police received a report that an armed man was walking in a store on Kopernyka Street. Eyewitnesses noted that the visitor appeared intoxicated and was behaving strangely.
Police officers arrived at the scene and "disarmed" the man. It was established that the 40-year-old serviceman, who had left his military unit without authorization, was roaming the hall with a rifle, which actually turned out to be a toy,
Law enforcement officers have initiated criminal proceedings on the grounds of hooliganism.
The man was subsequently handed over to the Military Law Enforcement Service.
