Decision of the Regional Defense Council: Starting from December 1, document checks will be introduced in Transcarpathia

Starting December 1, document checks will be intensified in the Transcarpathian region under martial law, according to the decision of the Regional Defense Council.

The Defense Council of the Transcarpathian region has decided to introduce document checks for people in the region. The changes will come into force on December 1. This is stated on the website of the Transcarpathian Regional Military Administration, reports UNN.

Details 

From December 1, 2023, for the period of martial law in Ukraine, to introduce document checks of persons in the territory of Transcarpathian region in accordance with the Procedure determined by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of December 29, 2021, No. 1456 "On Approval of the Procedure for Checking Documents of Persons, inspection of belongings, vehicles, luggage and cargo, office premises and housing of citizens during the implementation of martial law measures

- the decision of the Regional Defense Council states.

In particular, commandants of districts and cities of Zakarpattia region will be appointed to determine authorized persons to check documents. The relevant changes will be in effect for the duration of martial law on the territory of Ukraine.
