Dangerous emails about "lawsuits" and "debts": civil servants in Ukraine and Poland are under attack

Cybercriminals attack Ukrainian and Polish civil servants with emails containing malware allegedly related to legal issues.
Cybercriminals are sending dangerous emails about "legal claims" and "debts" allegedly on behalf of Ukrainian government agencies. This was reported by the State Special Communications Service, UNN reports.

The Governmental team of response to computer emergencies of Ukraine CERT-UA, which operates under the State Special Communication Service, has revealed the fact of mass distribution of dangerous emails among civil servants of Ukraine and Poland.
The emails referred to "legal claims" and "debts". They contained attachments in the form of password-protected RAR archives. If you open such an archive and run the executable files, your computer may be infected with RemcosRAT or MeduzaStealer malware.
It is also noted that legitimate compromised accounts were used to send the emails, in particular in the gov.ua domain.
