Civilian killed by Russian drone strike in Odesa region

One person was killed in Odesa region when a drone shot down by Ukrainian air defense crashed into a house, causing a large fire. Ukrainian forces shot down 16 drones overnight, and the incident caused additional damage to nearby properties.
A man died as a result of night attack in Odesa region, a man was killed. One of the fired drones fell on a a private house in Odesa district and exploded. This was reported by the Defense Forces of southern Ukraine, reports UNN.

It is noted that for 5 hours at night the enemy terrorized the southern regions with another drone attack.
In the area of responsibility of the Southern Defense Forces, units of the air defense units shot down 16 shaheed drones launched by the occupiers from Crimea 7 kamikaze drones were shot down in Kherson region, 9 - in Odesa region.
During combat operations, one of the fired drones fell on a a private residential building in Odesa district and exploded. The blast wave damaged the surrounding houses and a hangar with the property of a private sports institution. A large-scale fire broke out, which firefighters quickly extinguished. At the scene one man was found dead
According to Oleh Kiper, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, one of the downed drones crashed into a residential area in Odesa district and exploded. It destroyed private residential buildings and a warehouse of a private sports institution, followed by a fire.

Rescuers quickly extinguished the fire. A dead person was found in one of the houses.
