Sam Altman, CEO of the American company OpenAI, the developer of the ChatGPT neural network, has resigned, UNN reports, citing Euronews.

According to the company's statement, the board of directors concluded that he "was not always frank" in his interaction with the board, which hindered it from fulfilling its duties.
Following Altman's resignation, several other senior executives announced their resignations. His place will be temporarily taken by the company's Chief Technology Officer Mira Murati.
US media sources suggest that Altman will create a new company where he will work with former OpenAI employees.
