Taras Vysotsky, First Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, expressed cautious optimism about resolving the long-standing problem between Ukraine and Poland.
According to him, after lengthy negotiations between representatives of both countries, including manufacturers and specialized associations, a broad and frank discussion took place, which created the basis for cooperation and agreements.
It is very important that there was a direct dialog. The talks lasted more than 5 hours, and it was not just a political meeting, as it was attended by representatives of manufacturers from both sides. This is the first time that such a broad, frank, specialized and professional discussion has taken place between the two countries
He also noted that both sides understand the importance of cooperation and agreements to achieve a better result.
According to him, the next meeting between the associations will take place on April 5, and a broader meeting to consider the parameters of cooperation is planned for mid- to late April.
