Cabinet of Ministers expects 13 billion hryvnias from privatization in 2026 - Svyrydenko
Kyiv • UNN
In 2026, the Cabinet of Ministers plans to receive 13 billion hryvnias from privatization and sell Ocean Plaza. Small-scale privatization has already brought more than 1 billion hryvnias to the budget.

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine expects to attract about 10 billion hryvnias from private investors in 2026 as a result of large-scale privatization and 3 billion from small-scale privatization. This was reported by First Vice Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko, according to UNN.
Details
According to Svyrydenko, this is an ambitious task in wartime conditions, but it was precisely what was discussed and agreed upon at a meeting with the Ministry of Economy and the State Property Fund. The meeting itself took place at the Ocean Plaza shopping mall, which previously belonged to Russian oligarch Arkady Rotenberg and was later transferred to state ownership in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On Sanctions."
We plan to put it up for open auction in the third quarter of this year with an estimated market value of about 100 million dollars
At the same time, small-scale privatization in Ukraine will not stop.
This is a continuous process that is already yielding results and forming stable revenues for the budget. Since the beginning of the year, we have already received over 1 billion hryvnias and fulfilled a significant part of the annual plan
Recall
At the end of November 2025, the State Enterprise "Forests of Ukraine" transitioned to the status of a joint-stock company. Taras Melnychuk, the representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada, believes that this decision will ensure effective corporate governance and increase competitiveness without privatization.
