In Ukraine, 5 more arsonists were detained, who acted on the order of the Russian Federation in Kiev and in the Transcarpathian and Poltava regions. In particular, the attackers set fire to military vehicles and administrative buildings, reports UNN with reference to the SBU.

"The Security Service and the National Police detained 5 more arsonists who carried out orders of the Russian special services in different regions of Ukraine. All the defendants were recruited by the invaders when they were looking for quick earnings in Telegram channels," the report says.

In particular, in the capital "in hot pursuit" detained two malefactors aged 17 and 20 years, who set fire to a military pickup truck that was undergoing technical inspection after performing combat missions in the Donetsk region.

In Transcarpathia, two defendants were detained who set fire to the administrative building of one of the village councils of the Mukachevo district. Then, as a result of the incident, the fire damaged the doors and window of the state institution.

"After that, the attackers tried to burn down the generator that feeds the base station of the mobile operator. However, they were detained "in the hot seat" when they were going to commit a new crime," the SBU added.

In the Poltava region, a 16-year-old girl was exposed who set fire to an SUV of the AFU combat brigade fighting on the Eastern Front.

"After performing custom-made arson attacks, the defendants hoped to receive money from their Russian curators, but instead received suspicion," the SBU noted.

In particular, the attackers were informed of suspicions under Part 2 of Article 28, Part 1 of Article 114-1 (obstruction of the legitimate activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations during a special period, committed by a group of persons) and Part 2 of Article 194 (intentional destruction or damage to property committed by arson).

The attackers are in custody. They face up to 10 years in prison.
