Budanov gave a forecast for 2025 regarding the situation in Ukraine
Kyiv • UNN
The head of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine expects the situation in Ukraine to improve in 2025 due to objective factors. Russia will have to make difficult economic decisions by mid-2025 if it does not change its course.
The head of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, said that 2025 will definitely be better than this year, and there are objective factors for this. He said this during a telethon, UNN reports.
At the end of 2023, I said that unfortunately, 2024 will not be a good year for us, it will be very difficult. If I formulate the same question about 2025, I am much more optimistic. 2025 will definitely be better than this year. There are objective factors for this, and I hope that in 2025 we will see a lot of good events that will eventually bring us all what we are waiting for
Budanov also made a forecast for Russia.
If Russia does not come to its senses by mid-2025, they will definitely have to make very difficult decisions about their financial and economic system. Are they ready for that? Maybe they are. But do they want to? I can say for 100% that they do not and will try to do everything to prevent this
However, he noted that, in the end, it is mostly up to Ukrainians to find a solution and enforce absolutely fair conditions.
