About 2.5 thousand trucks were queuing in Poland towards the border with Ukraine amid the blockade of Polish carriers on Monday morning. This was reported by the spokesman for the State Border Guard Service, Andriy Demchenko, during a telethon, according to a correspondent of UNN.

"As of 7 a.m., that is, in six hours, 30 trucks have been cleared and crossed the border. As of the morning, about 60 trucks were waiting in lines to cross the border," Demchenko said.

Earlier it was reported that starting December 4, Ukraine will open the Uhryniv-Dolhobyczów border to empty trucks weighing more than 7.5 tons to reduce congestion and increase capacity on the Ukraine-Poland border.
Ukraine and Poland agreed to unblock the Uhryniv-Dolhobyczów checkpoint for empty trucks and to create separate passes for empty vehicles at the Yahodyn-Dorohusk and Krakivets-Korczowa checkpoints in the eCheck system.
