The President of Ukraine met with CIA Director Bill Burns during his last visit to the post. Zelenskyy thanked for the support and emphasized the importance of maintaining contacts.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with CIA Director Bill Burns, reports UNN.
“Bill Burns paid his last visit to Ukraine as CIA director. We have had many meetings with him during this war, and I am grateful for his help,” Zelenskyy said on Telegram.
He added that “usually such meetings are not reported publicly, and all our meetings - in Ukraine, in other European countries, in America, and in other parts of the world - took place without official notification.
“But now, after the last visit, it's worth saying it openly. I wish you, Bill, and your family only the best! May good luck be with you,” the President added.
Zelensky noted that “we do not disclose secrets, but we keep in touch.
“We will probably see each other again, and we will definitely see this war end in a real, reliable peace, for which we are working together,” the President summarized.
