U.S. President Joe Biden said he supports holding new elections in Venezuela, despite the objections of the country's ruling party and its opposition. This was reported by Reuters, according to UNN.

It is noted that Biden spoke to journalists after Brazilian President Lula da Silva suggested that self-proclaimed Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro could announce new elections with the participation of international observers.
Biden told reporters that he supports new elections in Venezuela. According to Lula, a "coalition government" could be one of the possible solutions for the country.
If Maduro has common sense, he could offer this to the people, perhaps by calling for new elections with a non-partisan electoral committee,
